taken to Disney World, while Immigration and
Naturalization.Service representatives hold a second
meeting with Juan Miguel Gonzales.in Cardenas, Cuba.
While the Miami family are seeking political asylum.for
Elian on the grounds that he faces political persecution
in Cuba,.Washington has indicated that it is prepared, in
principle, to send the.boy home once it has established
the substance of the father's claim..A week later, an INS
hearing to determine Elian's fate is postponed.until
January 21, with his Miami relatives awarded custody in
