granting.temporary custody to Lazaro Gonzalez, and orders
that Elian not be removed.from the U.S. before her court
can hold a hearing. The following day it.emerges that the
judge is under investigation for possible misuse
of.campaign finances, and that the Miami family's
spokesman, Armando.Gutierrez, had served as a consultant
