dated 12/19/00 that discusses immigrant visa processing changes.

Parole Authority 2/19/2002
U.S. INS advises the field that humanitarian parole authority is
being transferred back to the INS Headquarters Office of
International Affairs from the 3 overseas district offices to
which the authority had been delegated in 1992
DOJ to
Publish Proposed Rule to Enact Procedural Reforms at the BIA
[02/15/2002]
The Justice Dept. has filed with the Office of the Federal
Register a proposed rule that would make a number of procedural
reforms at the Board of Immigration Appeals, including cutting
the number of BIA Members from 19 to 11. The rule is scheduled
for publication on 2/19/02, at which time we will post the
official copy.
