Policy Change to INS Benefits Payment

Paying by mail:
-- INS will accept money orders or certified checks only. NO personal or business checks. Applications submitted by mail with personal or business checks will be returned to the applicant.


Paying with business checks:
-- Applicants MUST submit applications IN PERSON with a Government-issued picture identification.


Naturalization applicants residing within INS's Philadelphia District must mail their completed applications - with all appropriate fees - to: INS Vermont Service Center, Attn.: N-400 Unit, 75 Lower Weldon St., St. Albans, VT 05479-0001.
