Requests for Expeditious Handling
Requests for expeditious handling will be considered under the
following circumstances:
Requests that do not meet these criteria will not be granted and delayed processing will inevitably result.
To request an expedite, state "EXPEDITE REQUEST"
(in BIG, BOLD letters) in the heading of your or, better yet,
your client's, letter requesting the expedite. Also note clearly
and in BIG BOLD letters on your envelope, "EXPEDITE
REQUEST." Make sure your or your client's letter
explains not only the need for an expedite, but also the basis or
rationale for your client's expedite request.
